During 2002 and 2003, Bárd analysed and corrected a full suite of presentations, proposals, Environmental Impact Statements, and Environmental Impact Assessment reports produced by environmental consultants at Fehily, Timoney & Company (FTC). Bard also delivered several technical report writing training courses to dozens of FTC engineers. The syllabus included an overview of technical writing techniques and how to write clear and focused reports. Bárd also designed the FTC company style guide and technical terminology reference to ensure standardisation across the company's documentation. Following the training sessions, FTC reported that there was a noticeable improvement in the clarity of their reports, and it led to much improved communication with their clients.
