Bard获得“年度公司”称号

这个奖项由柯克市商会组织来评比柯克市的中小型企业。参与的企业包括950家商会成员公司以及超过17100家被提名单位。

评比项目基于以下几点：
1. 2004年度的公司业绩和发展
2. 产品、服务、研究发展、市场销售方面的创新和发展情况
3. 2004年度的兼并收购和投资行动
4. 对于本地经济、社会和文化的贡献

Bard公司是在总部位于巴林格瑞的一家信息管理公司，在美国加州圣何塞还有一个分支机构。

The award recognises the work of the Bárd team and the huge growth achieved over the past five years. Bárd's main business is technical writing for a global customer base.

To meet its objectives, Bárd has overcome the challenges of infrastructure in a rural location by working with Údarás na Gaeltachta and Eircom to make Béal Átha'n Ghaorthaidh the first village in Ireland to have ADSL Broadband. Bárd has also managed to find excellent employees from around the country who can compete globally while maintaining their rural roots. The management and staff of Bárd see the company as a role model for culturally and environmentally friendly industry for rural Ireland. In addition to its English technical writing services (Bardwrite) Bárd is heavily involved in Irish language services. In keeping with its location in the Gaeltacht, Bárd continues to create markets for Irish language products and services.
